Kid,

Exactly right...now we just need to get the other states to take similar action.

Personally, I'd be in favor of pushing the line back down to the Panama Canal. It would make for much easier fencing. Can't help it...the ranch kid in me just comes out at times.

buena suerte,

Steve

Steve,

Ever now and then I agree completely with you. But don't count on the Land of Enchantment. Our governor may be a big old lardass, but he aint got enough guts to make a sausage.

I got to clean up and drive up to the big city. Oral surgery. It was a horse that did it, not a fist, and if that horse was still around I'd put a bullet just above his eye. You ought to tell Mr. Betters to stay off those rank horses.

Of course, if I can, I get to pick up my new old .22. It's no longer slim and trim. And the Unertl was bumped way up. I'm going to see what I can do at 200.

adios, Tom

Tomas,

Yeah...great minds think alike. I've been telling people that I wouldn't miss this November for all the tea in China. I'm going to make a big bowl of popcorn and watch the television for all the squallin' and fightin'.

I really think that mid-terms will be a historical moment...

Steve

P.S. Let me know how that new/old .22 shoots...I'm thinking you will want to put some money on it when you are next here in Friendly Wyoming.

SPG,

Hey Slick, why a course we going to have a little wager in the .22 aggregate next time. Even sooner if you was to come down here.

Perhaps in your latest life of wealth and ease shoeing up the horses and throwing the hitches are beneath your station? Ah, the clarion call of filthy lucre. I keep looking for you to come over the mountain here with the pack string.

One thing about it, if you was to come down here you sure won't be contaminated by any wealth. And bring that handgun, these man eating lizards are about to run us over.

Your friend in peace and love, Kid

El Kid,

Back in a former life I was in Texas...and I had a little too much fun. So much fun, in fact, that I tend to stay away from Texas now in my "pillar of the community" life. I think you savvy.

I don't want to come across as hustling, which is really not in my nature, so why don't we just put a C-note on it and call it muy bueno?

Don't worry...Miss Sheryll and I still remember how to throw a hitch and eat beans...it's our greatest asset.

Not to change the subject...but the tally up here is now Humans-0, Grizzlies-2. And hunting season hasn't started yet. Maybe a few Urus Horriblilus on the border would help out in the current situation? Might be worth more than the National Guard in discouraging travel.

Yours for a Kinder and Gentler World,

Steve

SPG, I don't know what you said, but I know it was catty.

El Kid,

Nope...not catty at all. Kelley is a friend, just like you. Well, maybe not exactly like you, but pretty close.

Geen bedoelde inbreuk,

SPG,

Uh huh. Right. You bet. I suppose you also sell bottles of Dr. Aegospotamis' magic elixir of Life, Love, and Happiness. I'll pass on that.

Kid, I hope it all went well at the oral doc's. While back a doc relieved me of some hardware and a few days later I broke a toe. Next day, trying to keep weight off the toe I slipped in the shower and took a complete free fall to the tile floor. (Single twist with a half gainer. Scored 9.4, difficulty Cool Didn't hurt until a couple of days after I saw the doc. When I did see him I related my acrobatic inclinations and probably implied I'd use a .22 on him if he picked up a knife in my presence ever again. Won't need a Unertl, might even follow up with a butt stroke.

He doesn't have much humor that fellow. Laughing

PS: I had a root canal week ago today as I recall. Somewhere along the freeway of life I must of taken the wrong exit.

I'm gonna bet even, $50 on each of ya.
